I just discovered this forum. I just moved from my Blackberry Pearl 8100 (1st generation) to the 8110. I'm looking to upgrade the memory to an 8GB microSDHC. I'm hearing mixed things about whether or not it will work. Any thoughts?

They will work depending on what software version you are running on your bb. If you are on v4.5, you can use 8GB with no problems.

If you're on v4.2, you can only use 4GB max.

For the exact details as to what memory cards are supported on which OS, do a quick search.

I have an AT&T 8110 running OS 4.3.0.93. My 8110 sees the 8GB capacity and everything works fine for me.
