Have had a 9790 now since November and was excited to see the release of 7.1 upgrade,,but still can't access it due to Bell Canada hasnt released it yet. With things like wifi calling and wifi hotspots this would be a great selling feature if only we could share this with others showing them the advantages of having a blackberry,,,so it's carriers like Bell that's not helping RIM either.Maybe if Rims updates were all ota instead of waiting on carriers they would be much better accepted

Forget your carrier and waiting for them to get it together. Its funny how its the CANADIAN carriers that take forever to release new OS. You think we would get them first but noooooo.

i hear u on this...wind mobile for example just released .585 like 3 weeks ago, so roughly took them 2 months and change to get it out....and the new leaks are like 3 leaks ahead of .585

ATT is the same way with long delays. A leak or other carrier official OS works just fine. Been a very long time since any of our family phones waited for an ATT release. With all the available information here at CB waiting is no necessity.

I think that they will release 7.1 in no time , because they released 7.1 for the 9360 about two weeks ago.

Forget waiting for it to go official...just install the latest leak. Nothing difficult, just one extra step. You can always restore back go an official version if you need to.
