If the 8100, 83XX, 8700 and 8800 are all 64 meg devices, why is bes 4.1.5 reporting them all as having sizes OTHER than 64 megs?

    I see 8700c's reporting 72 megs.. Curves reporting 56 megs.. 8800's reporting 69 megs.

    um?

This is a good question as the diff between my Pearl and Curve has always seemed a bit confusing. Both are supposed 64mb devices but as the pics show the Curve starts of about 8mb below that. I have never found an answer to this.

My 8820 is 61 MB and my 8310 is 55 MB. I also wondered why they are 6 MB apart as they are suppose to be 64 MB devices.

My guess is that with the GPS (8310) and WiFi (8320) there is a portion of memory dedicated to those functions. But, that's a guess. It would be nice to know for sure.
