You should be able to use the phone, but you won't receive 4G.

Could have it set to 4G only, or its locked to the original carrier. What carrier was it from, and who are you trying to connect to?

BlackBerry 10 devices don't have all Jio bands, they won't work.

You can't Unlock bands on a BlackBerry. You need a supported phone.

Is this possible to flash BlackBerry q10 SQN 100 1 firmwere in SQN 100. 3
    There's no change in hardwere
These have difference of LTE frequency due to different region and country

No, you'd have to buy a different model.

Regardless, Jio is mostly Band 40, which no BB10 device has.

mine is sqn 100-3, my new one. Not sure if this is helpful, but here goes.
I don't like being locked into LTE bc of where I live, it's weak and choppy. With my phone on, I put the simcard in, turn on data, and quickly select the HSPA and GSM choice on the phone network menu, setting it to MANUAL, and when it locks in, it locks in to 4G. If I turn off data or restart the phone I have to do it again, removing the simcard while 'on' to set it up.

I assume you are in the USA, I am on attnt.
