Please do not post asking where to get unofficial software. 4.5 is still in beta.

Sorry Phonedoode, even asking where it can be found is against CB policy, strictly because CB can risk a lawsuit by advertising/promoting "pirated" or obtainable unreleased software from RIM, easily considered theft or whatever. Thanks for understanding

Here is a official 4.5.0.37 released by Vodafone. I run this OS on my 8310 but run at your own risk.

I have At&t and Vodafone OS is running fine on my 8310. The only propblem I have had is I can't get weathereye or weatherbug apps to work properly. There has been some people its worked great and others it did not. I'm going to stick with this OS until At&t releases their official 4.5

Weatherbug worked fine in .37 for me. I find it funny how two people with practically identical devices can load the same software and have such different results...

Yeah I know... It does seem strange. With weatherbug, the icon would only show a bug and not the temp.

I've got 4.5.0.37 Vodafone OS on my AT&T 8310. Works great! I had the same probs with Weatherbug until someone had me A) completely remove the old version before installing the upgrade to Weatherbug, and 2) do a battery pull immediately after it downloaded and installed. Then it set up just fine.

Mine still does that from time to time after a battery pull. But it eventually comes back.
