3G/4G with no issues all day long. Battery last all day & then some.

Always 4G. No issues so far with daily use on any of our household devices (9800, 9810, and 9900).

Signal strength plays a big role with your battery.

    Your os version counts too!

You should have the latest 7.1 for the best experience in battery and more!

Have to be on "4G" otherwise I'll get no signal (Bell has no EDGE fallback).

I never liked using 2G, I keep it at 3G since 4G is unavailble in my country..
However 4G will kill your battery much faster.
