Hello, I accidentally installed the sys.android.bar to my new blackberry z10 and it now no longer allows me to sideload android apps. It seems the only way to fix this is by doing a security wipe but i did a test of the Blackberry Link backup system and it doesnt get everything. With Blackberry Desktop Manager I was able to backup SMS messages so that if I were to backup, wipe, and restore, my SMS would return as if i never had done anything. Now with the Blackberry Link system for my new Z10 i cannot backup SMS messages as when i backup my phone delete messages and restore, the messages dont return. Please help, I need to know my blackberry will restore EVERYTHING once I wipe it to fix the android sideload problem. Thank you

My text msgs have always restored when I reload my back up. However, some people do have an issue where everything restores but their text. Their are some apps in BlackBerry World that will backup your text. You may want to download one of those to guarantee you get your text back.

When you do a full backup, it does backup SMS

Thanks after doing the backup a bunch of times my test restore finally worked thanks guys but when I did a security wipe then restored my apps didn't restore is there a reason for that?

You needed multiple threads on this? Anyways restored apps doesn't include sideloaded apps

No even my regular apps didn't restore and sorry I didn't want my wipe deleting everything I was just being careful
