    I see now BBM for iOS supports iPod and iPad which is a WIFI only device. I was told (or read earlier) that the reason tablet is not supported is because WIFI only and BBRY is reluctant to release BBM on wifi only because they want people to stay connected at all times (hence handsets only since handsets have data at all time).

    I know I can just upload APK to nexus and done with it, but I prefer to go official way because uploading APK to tablet takes many steps.

    anyone know if the next release would support Tablet?

    I assume it's because it's not a phone. So I doubt you will see official. I have it running works great. In the time I wrote this you could just install the apk
