    - Login with your BlackBerry ID on other platform BBM
    - Factory reset your BlackBerry
    - Setup BB10 device again with new user

    What happens?

Nothing really. As mentioned the id goes with you. Any purchased apps also go along with you. Waiting to be installed on your next BlackBerry.

    bbid is the email address.
bbm pin is of two types.
1- one type which is fixed to a BlackBerry device like Z10,Z30. who ever owns that device, owns that pin. but if you have a bbid created using iphone, android or windows phone And you will use it to login into a BlackBerry device like Z10,Z30 then it will not let you use the hardcoded bbm pin. To be able to use this hardcoded pin you have to create a new bbid.

2- one type which is created on a non BlackBerry devices like iPhone, Android. theses pins are linked to bbid strictly. even if you change to another iphone model or Android or a BlackBerry mobile like Z10, they don't change as long as you use the same bbid email.

Here is what I want to do:

BBID created on BB10 -> move to non-BB -> later move to newer BB10

I don't get it, if someone got my BB10 PIN, it means they could be later be sending messages to whoever has that BB10 later? That would be totally wrong.

when you move bb10 >> non bb10 the pin will change automatically to a new pin.

you and your friends will be disconnected from your old bb10 pin automatically as now you have a new pin. you or your friends will not be notified of this change of pin.

you and your friends are no longer connected to your Old bb10 pin. the only way they can send message to ur old bb10 pin is by using "pin message" option manually.

when you move to non bb10>> new bb10. you will have two options
1- login using sameold bbid that you are using since start. it will keep the pin Same as it was on your last non bbid. you don't need to add your friends manually.

    or
2- create new bbid to use the new bb10 pin which is hardcoded to that new bb10 phone. and add all your friends again manually.

Im not sure what you mean by ID, but I have switched from a Q10 to a Nexus 5 then back to the same Q10 and my contacts and groups transferred flawlessly. I believe the key was using the same blackberry ID everywhere.

Because you switched back to "same Q10". . trying a new Q10. new q10 will not give you its hardcoded pin with an old BBID.

When you switch devices and sign in with the same BBID the device will ask if you want to switch your BBM over to it.
