Alright so I'm running 10.2.1.537 on my Z10 (STL-100-2), Vodafone IE, love the phone, best I've had. But BBM and Channels are giving me some trouble.

Any (ANY) update to BBM has always had two consequences for me: 1) all apps fail to connect to BBM and 2) Channel notifications disappear.

So far I've been able to solve it by installing the Oct 2013 Channels build from the Beta Zone - both problems fixed. I've been doing that every time a BBM update comes out.

Yesterday I happily installed the latest BBM 10.3 update and sure enough, Reddit in Motion and Twitter could never connect to BBM ("Connecting to BBM" message and nothing ever happened), and Channels stopped notifying me of new updates. So I installed Channels as I always do, with the very unpleasant consequence that my new BBM is back to the old version (no Glympse, no new emoticons) and BlackBerry World says it is the last version so I can't re-install the new one.

Reloading the OS didn't fix it.

Has anyone else run into this problem? Any suggestions?

That's a weird one. Haven't experienced that. Seems like you have tried everything. Only thing left is to install the newest leaked/official .2102 OS?

Thanks, this has been happening to me from 10.1 even and the only thing that works is reinstalling Channels, but then I lose the newest BBM options. I'm on 10.2.1.2102 already anyway since yesterday. I'm also following this forum made by another user who has the same issue.
