I like many others, do not have a ton of BBM contacts so downloaded and used a Pin Finder app from the Play Store. I had to sign in with my BBM credentials. I assume that this app linked itself to my BBM in the same way Evernote does when I give my Android phone access. But I can revoke Evernote access at anytime. I found no way to do this for the Pin Finder app. Should I be worried about security on BBM profile since I cannot revoke access of this app?

I would be cautious of this, the best thing is if you are going add random people on bbm you say dont really know then just share your pin rather then using pin finder apps and stuff like that its more secure just to give your pin out

Is there anyway to revoke the access that apps have to my BBM ID?

Best thing to do is to change your password becuase the app will only have access to your BB ID with the credentials that are right I.E the password you put in, once you change your password the app can no longer use that info you entered to use your ID because the password is now incorrect because you just changed it

Great suggestion. Thanks. I'll keep that in mind next time I think about using one of these apps. Perfect example of why these communities are so helpful.
