    I have a Q10 with latest OS, and I have a couple of new BBM contacts. Both of these are linked to phone contacts (which have photos)

    Yet in my list of BBM contacts both contacts still show the grey silhouette. Is there a way to force BBM to use the picture associated with the phone contact?

    No. They have to set their own BBM display pic.
