Well, Whatsapp had $15 million in revenue, not profit. They actually lost over $230 million over the course of the first half of the year. Since FB bought them, they no longer have a need, or care, to monetize the service in a traditional way of user purchases. The user data of 600 million+ users is more valuable to FB.

And BBM belongs to BlackBerry which has a lot of other ways to get revenue, if they decide to make BBM one of their ways then they will lose a lot of the user base just watch and see

As long as I can still make single target video calls for free come the introduction of Meetings, I'm fine with whatever useless crap they fence off in a subscription.

That's my major beef as well - I have a thought that any future additions will be part of the premium package, and BBM will never be on part with other offerings if so. At least give us free video chat.

That SIM info is new as of maybe three leaks back, I think I last checked either 10.3.0.1154 or one of the first couple 10.3.1.xxx builds and it wasn't there. And, it's different for Verizon.
