It has been said here countless times that BlackBerry does not control the groups in BBM. But it they think this will work then go to it.
If there was favouritism GCN would have been featured on the channels main page and it hasn't been.
... but how many of the channel's belonging to this group have been featured? And repeatedly in some cases.

Of course there is, when you know where to look, you see favoritism all the time in BBM channels
