So a friend of mine got his BBM and his ID through a Samsung device, but he's now temporally using an older 9300 that I used to have as the Samsung one is being fixed. He pretends to switch again to that samsung when the phone comes back from technical support.

The question is, can he use his ID on that 9300? He tried to but the device won't allow him because it is somehow still linked to my ID, which I currently use on a Q10. Maybe we should format it in order to be able to?
And finally, can he put again his ID on the samsung device when he stops using the 9300?

PS: He's also thinking of finally switching to a BlackBerry 10 device, let's encourage him by fixing this issue!

Do a security wipe on the 9300 ...the ID can be swapped, just use it in one device at a time

I have a friend who switched his BlackBerry id back and forth from a bold to z10 to iphone 5 back to Z10 with no problems and yes you can only use BBM on one device with the same BlackBerry id.
