What do you think about people who use special characters in their BBM profile instead of their name.
It's very annoying because you can't find the contact just typing the name. I usually decline the solicitation of these people. Trust me, it's not cool. What do you think about it?

Yeah it can be annoying but that's the fun part of BBM you can customize and personalize. These contacts will all show at the end of you list, so just scroll down to find em. You get over it after awhile.

Sometimes it can take a moment to sort through some of the jumble, but it hasn't really annoyed me that much. I extended your title to better reflect the post and question, as well.

You can always change the name to whatever naming convention you choose in BBM. Normally, this would be the appropriate resolution. However, I am finding that certain iOS group contacts are listed according to their PIN even though the contacts have been properly named on BBM for iOS.

Yes it's annoying. People should use their first and last name. First letter of each name capitalized. Any other format, and any special characters, causes annoyance to BJ.

Get around that type of nonsense by using categories. You could place any like that in one category, or make a category using their actual name. Get creative with it.
