    Dear All,

Yesterday, my dad's friend called him to confirm that is it true he asks for some loan from bbm?

My father never ask anyone for loan, later he realized that there's someone is using his bbm account to message all of his friends and ask for money!

And the worse thing is, he couldn't remember what his bbm id username and password. So I can't recover his account.

Could anyone from bbm representative just delete his bbm id asap? Below is the pin that has got hijacked. My dad is using Blackberry Z30, which its pin supposed to start with 2xxxx. The new pin is 5xxxx which is already connected to some other android/iphone devices.

Sorry, I'm having difficulty with this story. It's impossible for someone to have hacked your dad's account just from his PIN, they would need his account ID and password, also the PIN is issued to his device and not his account. So unless your father has been giving out his log-in credentials to anyone who asks, I'm calling BS.

Geez, how do I upload pictures? And how come I ask question as a guest?

Read again my explanation above. The hacker didn't hacked my dad's by pin. He hacked my dad's BB ID and use my dad's BBM to ask for loan

Below is his new pin (after got hacked). He use BB Z30 which its pin supposed to start with 2xxxxx. But now his pin start with 5xxxxx.

Someone hijacked my dad's Blackberry ID and try to rob all of his friends! What can we do?-screenshot_2015-11-26-22-50-43-871.jpegSomeone hijacked my dad's Blackberry ID and try to rob all of his friends! What can we do?-screenshot_2015-11-27-10-18-01-819.jpeg

Probably your dad has logged into a phishing website that asks for BBID to watch some porn video.

Then he gave out his ID and password to someone whom he shouldn't have either through a spamming website, email, or text. As to getting his ID back, you'll have to talk to BlackBerry about that.

I would get your dad to call BlackBerry with his original PIN and the 'cloned' one and explain clearly what happened. The only way this can be resolved is through BlackBerry and I'm not sure there's much they can do.

Yeah genius, to whom I should talk to? Blackberry doesn't have any official support email - or even they have one, they would refer to post any problems to their forum.

Ignorance is not an excuse to be complaisant. Your father would have had his BBID setup on a device that he uses, he clicked on a phishing link, and followed through. This is the only way this could happen. So please stop and get a new BBID. Ensure it is an email address he uses regularly and is setup on device.

Hey 'genius', I'm only trying to help. There are plenty of avenues to be able to contact the people you need to speak to but I guess you'll have to figure that out for yourself. Why are you blaming BlackBerry for something that is obviously your father's fault?

In all fairness, it's clear that he isn't speaking his native language and Apple refers to their "helpers" as geniuses at their 'genius bar'.
I have faith in humanity and would give him the benefit of the doubt and attribute it to a huge misunderstanding.
    Hmm... nah!
    Lynch 'em! Lol
