    Hello...
    I'm new to this bar code thing..
    I want to join a group and the host put a pic of a bar code and ask us to scan it... how do I scan it?? ... do I have to open CB on a com and use my phone to scan it, or is there any other ways?

    You should have an option in BBM that says "Invite to BBM." Somewhere there it will say "Scan to Invite" You click that and then you point your camera at the barcode to scan it.

    But the bar code is in CB... I'm using my phone to open CB and BBM, not sure how to scan it like that.

    You can open the forum post in crackberry.com and scan it from there.

    Since it is a group there is no PIN. This has been an issue for a while. Need a third party scanner app to scan an image directly from phone. Doesn't always work well.
