    I am one of the few people I know who still has a Blackberry - so I was excited to see BBM made available to android and iPhone users.

    Can anyone confirm that BBM would be free to use while out of country if I turn off data while roaming and connect only through a wifi connection?

    I am from Canada and obviously want to avoid exorbitant roaming charges. I can't be hit with a massive bill if data is off while roaming - right? Even if I use BBM over wifi?

    You'd need to be using BBMe, regular BBM has been discontinued, so the answer is yes, no problem over Wi-Fi.
