PlayBook future BBM to cross platform?

I found it very cool to be able to video call between my z10 and PlayBook today and it got me thinking about being able to video call BBM users on android and apple from the PlayBook once the BBM video/audio becomes available to them. I may just use my PlayBook a tonneau more if this happens.

I know the video calling is one of the things they are testing in Android right now, and will bring a rich feature to the table.
