I just find there's too many differences between BBM Group and multi-person chats.
For example, I can't send a sticker on BBM Group chats.
I also can't share a photo in BBM Group chats but only in the Pictures.
Can't we make it simpler and consistent between them?

It has been this way for a while in BBM groups. I don't know if any changes are planned in the groups area. In all the betas I have seen, it is the channels where BB is concentrating their attention.
This is incredibly annoying that you can't use stickers in groups. Why not? Why should a single person chat have different functionality than a group? I use the glympse often so this would be sooooo beneficial if you have a group chat going and need to show everyone a location. NO forward thinking with this. Makes no sense.
Just discovered too that even though stickers don't exist in group chat, if you start a chat with someone and invite others to join, stickers will work. Almost seems like a glitch since it obviously will send to multiple people at once.

Wasnt there a beta showing BBM groups capable of posting in line pictures?

Op! I'm equally frustrated as you are! BlackBerry has make this very less confusing n more user friendly...with the fact that many users are using whatsapp and it does have simpler UI than BBM!!

Groups has been lagging so far behind in terms of features. It's the one area that BlackBerry could focus on to bring them ahead of the competition but they seem to be okay with doing the bare minimum.

Me and my immediate group of friends gave BBM groups a good try but its just not good enough.

OP you forgot to add you cant share contacts, location, dropbox, glimpse, videos, files in BBM groups either.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. It's not only the stickers, you can't share any files on BBM Groups, and the file sharing recently incorporated to multi-person chats is very limited. I recently started a blog about File Sharing in BBM Groups. It just seems like giving us this option is basic and BlackBerry should have been at it even before incorporating backgrounds and stickers. You can share files, pictures voice notes, location etc., right on the Group Chat page on WhatsApp, why hasn't BBM added the same features to its Group Chats already. If you can do it in individual chats I can't imagine it would be difficult to do it in Group Chats.

I know BBM 10.3 will bring in-line picture sharing in Group. But I just wish BlackBerry move faster in perfecting BBM.

You are right. I was referring to BBM 10.3 beta since May. It does have inline photo sharing in BBM Group.
