Yesterday I downloaded the new BBM update on both my Z30 and my sisters Z10. I still keep getting the "this contact isn't using a version of BBM that supports this feature".
Any ways to get around this problem? I gave it half a day to maybe figure it out and have restarted both phones.

You need to poke your contact(s) to update their BBM as well. Both sides require a version supporting these features

I updated her bbm to the newest version too yesterday. We both have newest version yet we can't use the newest features?

It takes some time to settle I guess, it was like this in the morning but now my contacts can give me a timed message,
