My Key1 is beginning to fail me. I need to switch phones and transfer my BBMe account to a new phone. My past experience has been that I will lose all prior chat history. Is that still the case?

Anything else I need to consider?

    Thanks in advance.

You can use your same BBMe account on more than one device. If I recall up to 5 devices. I had my BBMe on my KEYone and when I went KEY2 I just signed in and all my chat history was there.

Chats with BB10 users won't show up, and you'll need to set the new device as your primary device to message BB10 users. I've found it pretty unpredictable which chats and how much of it will migrate when switching devices, but most of it should be there when you sign in.
