    I have updated BBM yesterday. For last one hour it is under attack. Someone has started a multiperson chat of hundreds of people. Cant get out of that. BBM has frozen. I had to turn off my data. It is probably related to people with channels only.

    I updated mine yesterday without any glitches that I can report. Hope you resolve the issue.

    Leave data enabled on WiFi while it syncs (faster, don't eat cellular data ration). In the menu (3 vertical dots) look for the Exit Chat option.

    Good luck with that, my BBM has been attacked before using the same technique, I don't think it's channels, took my phone a day to recover.

    I am not in wifi zone. Have tried leaving chat numerous times. No effect.

    I had issue, but different. Got invitations from existing contact. Batery died within hour or so (Z30). Had to security wipe no joy, so loaded leaked 102.2 and its so so, BES contacts not syncing, to be continued.

    I updated mine yesterday and right afterwards, chat went down on me for four hours. just kept saying it was trying to connect. I went to sleep and woke up and it was fine. weird tho....

    I've deleted all chat history, it seemed to work for a while but now the chat is showing up in my hub only. Not within the app, really annoying!

    I too was dragged into this. Messed up BBM and the hub. Phone went from full to dead in 3 hours.

    Looks to be dead... for now. Everybody leave immediately and don't say a word!

    You must have too many BBM contacts in your account that one of them had their device compromised; probably an iOS or Android device. I haven't had this problem yet but I don't have a million contacts either, only a handful which are important to me.

    I think most people affected are channel owners. I can't even access my channel. Talk about Blackberry security. Shameful.
