    The one big mistake BlackBerry made with bbm. The adds, so sick of the adds my sisters who used to be big bbmers constantly complain about the adds on Bbm now. I know they are trying to make money but come on. I think it drives more away. Just saying

    Weird.. I have a BBM account on iOS and another on Android (as well as my BB10, obviously),.. and the 'ads' are barely noticeable. I mean, occasionally I will receive some invitations that are just games or sponsored channels, but it's not like it's a Google Ad plastered along the bottom of the app the entire time.

    I got 3 invites to the BBM channel in the month of September. I usually see a BBM sponsored post in my Feeds update once every 1-2 days.

    Exactly,... compared to the annoying Google ads, or the facebook ads that are intertwined within your newsfeed posing as real posts,... it's probably the least intrusive form of advertising on the internet... lol
