    I've run into a little snag with BBM. Every time I open from the app icon I keep getting a message that my version is out of date and I should update. I hit "Open" to update and there's none to be had.

    My version is and the version in BlackBerry World is but no update button. How do I update to the current version?

    Did you try to reboot your device?

    Hold Volume up and down until you see the boot screen...

    Just tried that but it didn't work. Tried downloading from BB World's online site and no joy, either. I did run an update about a week ago but by the looks of it it didn't take for some reason.

    Oh, I should have mentioned I'm running a Passport with OS

    Thanks for that but I tried uninstalling and reinstalling about half an hour ago and it seems to have worked. I'm not a huge fan of doing that and generally only do it as a last resort but I thought I'd spare you all my whinging and whining
