OK, I have searched but could not find an exact match of my question. Pls help.

I am moving from Z10 to Passport. Since BlackBerry allows BBID to be used on multiple devices, I'll use the same BBID and download Z10 bought apps in Passport. I will also migrate my BBM.

I will give Z10 to my wife. She will move from iPhone to Z10 along with her BBM.

Now the question. I want to keep my BBID tied to Z10 so that she can also use those apps (after clearing all data). But can she able to use BBM? She has her BBID which was created in iPhone. If she migrates with her iPhone created BBID, will Z10 (which is still having my BBID for BBW etc) accept it?

One more question. If I decide to wipe my Z10 (as I want to clean the clutter, esp Android clutter), start with my BBID and only use wife BBID for BBM, is it possible?

(P.S: Even any work around is OK, as we are the only contact on each others account. But my BBID is important, as I have bought lot of apps from BBW, not only just free apps)

Try downloading all the apps and then switch BBIDs on her phone. I'm not sure if that will wipe the phone and the apps but worth a try.

No. Bbid is per device, you cant login to BlackBerry world on bb10 from one account and bbm from different account on same device. Once you've activated a bbid on a device, the only way to switch the bbid on that device is to wipe it
