Hello,
I have a friend with bbm on his IOS device. He is having an issue with the sound notification, if he gets a msg it will make an audible notification but once he opens the chat he gets no more audible notifications.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

isn't that how it's supposed to work? if you are in the app, why would you need to be notified?

If you have a conversation open and sit the phone down and someone replies there is the potential to miss the fact that they replied.

I have a z10 and even if i have the conversation open it alerts every time a msg comes in.

Yeah your right that is a problem, but I'd wait for the next update and see if it's fixed, update shouldn't be far now.
