    Have a friend with an iphone 4s with BBM. the sound notification has suddenly stopped dinging. I am not an ios guy so no clue if this is set up under general settings or within BBM itself. can anyone help me to pass on to her? Thanks!

    I'd get them to double check their notification settings for BBM and to make sure their alert volume is at a good level. Finally, I'd check the mute switch and if those don't fix it you could always try a reboot.
