    Why would anyone choose anything else?

    With the file size limit being upped, Glympse, and having D/R status, Whatsapp is left in the dust looking pathetic.

    I'm truly perplexed.

    Sure, in theory most (I say most because some people might actually prefer Whatsapp's involuntary addition-by-mining) new people getting either service should prefer BBM now, but what Whatsapp has in a formidable way is the existing user base. Simply put, you are more likely to find people you know on Whatsapp than on BBM.
