Have you tried deleting one if your contacts and adding them again and see if the pic changes?!

I can confirm that it changes once I've readded but only for that particular contact and not on any further dp changes until I've deleted and readded again :S

This happened to some of my contacts, the problem fixes itself over time
Something that works for me.... flawlessly..... and others as well...
BBM has quite a few Hick ups... since they went cross platform....

Just goes to show that it is "easy " to impersonate someone on BBM groups.... as long as you don't change back to your name...
