I use my passport still, but installed BBMe on m mothers Android Phone, so that we can continue use BBM. How do I add her as a contact or how can she add me?
I tried both invitations via PIN, Barcode, direct messaging, but on both phones nothing happens, no invitations appear.
Is there any trick to this? Thanks!

give her your BBMe Pin and make her Invite you
I took her smartphone and did exactly this myself. Even via mail. I get the invitation and even klick accept, see her in my contacts. Still she can't contact me or sees me in her contacts...

I have the same problem adding contacts who are still using BB10. I am using BBMe on iOS. Also tried this with my Android BBMe device. Tried adding a BB10 contact and having them try to add me. Nothing happens.
It might have been a server issue, I was able to add a BB10 user now

I have BBMe (Android) on my BB Motion. And BBMc on my BB Leap. I tried using my Motion to scan the QR code of my Leap. It says an invitation was sent. Nothing ever happened.
But I tried the reverse, using my Leap to scan the QR code of my Motion, and invitation was sent and worked. Might just be finicky.
They might be working on a fix so invitations work both ways, thus causing some issues in the meantime. I was just now able to initiate a chat with a BBMe contact - This didn't work a week prior, but I was unable to actually invite said contact.

The only flow that is allowed is BBMe to BBMc, not the other way around.
BBMe to BBMe (prosumer included) is allowed.
Does it not matter if you scan the QR codes? I brought up the QR code on my BBMe on my Motion, and used my BBMc on my Z10 to scan it. They connected immediately. I would assume doing it this way meant that my Z10 was sending an invitation to my Motion.
