I have a group set up for my family. We all have the latest BBM. My wife, me and my oldest son have BlackBerry 10 devices. My younger son has an iPhone 5s.

On all our BlackBerry devices he shows up as a member of the family group but on his device it shows that he is not a member of any groups. I've deleted him from the group and sent an invite which he never received. I then invited him by scanning his bar code and he immediately showed up as part of the group however on his device it still shows that he is not member of any groups.

We've sent each other test messages using regular bbm chat that work but we still can't get him into the group.

Can anyone please provide some assistance with this? It would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest having your son scan the group bar code displayed on your device.

I think he can log out of BBM from an iPhone.
Maybe try log out and then log back in?

I've tried all the suggestions. I finally told him to do a hard reboot of his iPhone and voila... all is good now.

As with so many devices, Windows computers, etc., including BBs! (don't mention the battery pull.... )
