Edit: Not working on .1055 either. So clearly you need the .1925 leak or official.

Backup 1259 and use the 1925 autoloader. Restoring it should not cause any problems. It didn't for me at least. The leak is identical to the official release.

My groups are out of wack and im not longer mod smh.

It's been officially released but there are still some hold out carriers. Some in the US have released for Z10 and forgotten to release it to any other device. It is a bit strange if you ask me, but this release was pretty well done for the most part. This is just a warning thread for those that have not been serviced by their carriers.

I was witting for official OS 1925 to release from Verizon so I was still on .1259 and I upgraded BBM. Now it doesn't even open. I prefer not to install the 1925 leak and wait for the official which should come out any day now. Anyway I can put back the old BBM instead of reinstalling the entire OS????

Get the bar file from the 1259 leak using sachesi or darcy's tools

You can also uninstall the new BBM version with Sachesi and reinstall the old version from the leak. But if you fire up Sachesi, you can also just install the new OS.

It's not BBM's fault. If you are running a leak that was not an official release you have to expect issues. It's one of the risks you take and may have been one of the reasons that version was not released. Leaks and betas have issues, that's why they are leaks and betas and not official releases.

Ugh, wish I read this thread before I downloaded it. I'm still on 1055 because I didn't really have a need to update it. Guess I will now because I'm not counting on AT&T to release the official OS anytime soon...

Does anyone know if I can just install the .1925 BBM bar file over .1055 OS to get working BBM again?

(I am asking because my VERY non-technical daughter lives in another state and did the BBM update on .1055 and now it doesn't work - I don't think she is up to installing a new leaked OS, re-setting up her BB, etc. (I did it when I was visiting her Xmas) and of course AT&T doesn't have the new update available.) Thanks!

Appreciate the tone, but my wife is on the official vzw OS for her Z30 and has the same issue. Whoops, guess it might be bbm's/bb's fault. Perhaps BlackBerry should have not had it pop up as an update in bbw for her, or for anyone else not using the minimum OS required. But hey, blame the person running leaks, right. Smh.

It's the risk of running a leak. If you're not on a leak then it's an os compatibility issue, but if you are, that's the chance you take.

We are so lucky to have the leak police to handle our situations. Did you ever stop and think and perhaps realize that there may be a correlation between the fact that there are people both running leaks AND official OS having issues which might lead us to believe that there is a minimum OS needed (IE 1925) to run this, and it is indeed an OS compatibility issue for everyone and have nothing to do with leaks? No, of course you didn't. It's just more fun for you to criticize people, wag your finger, and tell them that's what you can expect with leaks. I'm so thankful there are plenty of other helpful people here that make CB a useful forum for people.
