Is there a Delivered and Read option during a group chat? Or is that only for individual chats? I don't get the D or R when I send a message to my groups.

With Groups who have 30 members, it wouldn't make sense. The only way for it to be a R would be if the 30 people read it, which is next to impossible.

That makes sense. I have a group of 4 and for a small group it would be nice to be able to know if my messages have been read.

I heard that hangouts had delivery and read notifications in group chat, but not sure. I've never used it myself and get how it doesn't make sense.

To the server, that way you know the group sees it.
    No? Oh, never mind.

But D doesn't mean delivery to the server on BBM.

I think it would be too messy and information overload. Happy the way it is.

In group, our convo is never have D or R. Just only the individual chatting. Not multiple chat or group either

ChatON let you know how many people have read the conversation with a number next to your messages (I think that Kakaotalk does it the same way).

Hangout show you where a contact stops to read the conversation with a photo of your contact where he stop reading.

It's funny that BBM doesn't have "read" notifications in group chat with all the "Whatsapp doesn't even have read notification" here...

I agree BBM Group needs to put in some kind of D and R sauce there, too.

I would like to see who has read the message for small group and multi-person chats. If facebook can do it BBM should too!
