I think this feature heavily relies on the speed of our data plan. Yesterday on mobile, was having a hard time with Glympse, on wifi this morning, it was a breeze using it.

Now on mobile again, depends on the area.

Ok so i decided to do the logical thing and contacted glympse (send them an email)
Hopefully they can shed some light in this
If they do email back i will try and relay the info here and we will all gain some more insight as to what's going on.
I hope I don't get some straight slap in the face stupid answer like it doesn't work in your area....... that would suck big time, i hate having **** on my phone that doesn't work, taking up valuable memory space
If anyone knows (for if it doesn't work) is there a way to remove glympse from the phone?

Glympse is very buggy. Just keep hammering blackberry help and they should bring an update out

Just let it spin. Mine did that at first but now it's gold.

Just rendezvoused with a friend on a bike ride by using glympse response so that we could both see both of us on the same map.

Yeah, I thought so too..... but after letting it spin for some 20 minutes, i think I'm pretty sure it won't pop up anymore

I love the concept of Glympse but I'm getting epically frustrated. I have to try to send the Glympse probably 25 times to get it to work once. And then it suddenly worked when I got home. I hit the paperclip, set the duration, hit send and not a thing happens. Back to square one. Could be so good!

Have you guys allowed BBM to access your location? Its in BBM settings. Pull down from the top within BBM and make sure its on.

Sending a Glympse works well on my iphone and android but on BlackBerry it just sends a link which goes:

Yeah...sadly first thing I checked, i send a email to glympse and BlackBerry about the subject let's see who (or if) answers.
I know it was the weekend so I'll give it a good working week to wait, if not I'll just shrivel down and just accept that it just probably doesn't work in my area/region..... which of course would totally suck

Quick update here
As mentioned previously i had contacted both BlackBerry and glympse regarding this however as of today i think its still in the "NASFWG" Status... (for those of you who don't know what that is: Not A Single **** Was Given)
So I'll just wait a few more days, is everyone's glympse working now?
Probably is just something to do with region and i won't be able to use this, i deserve to at least know right?

I'm having issues with Glympse from Q10 to Q10. It basically just shows the users location, but it never updates - it just says that they're staying in the same location when I know they are moving.

I restart the phone and magically it started working. I'm going to try it again tomorrow to confirm it still works.

Part of me thinks that there's something wrong with my Q10. I did a security wipe after updating to 10.2.1 because I was having issues with my local and bbm contacts (a past beta version of bbm kind of screwed things up). Even though my contact issue is fixed and my phone is running flawlessly, my Remote File Access via BlackBerry Link doesn't work. Not sure if the issues are related; I just think something with my phone isn't right. In order to fix this RFA issue, I'm told I need to reload the OS with Link (which I don't plan to do for 2 weeks...RFA isn't a main priority for me).

So as I mentioned before, I will try Glympse with my brother's Q10 tomorrow and see if it works and report back.

Well, I tried Glympse with two different people today (Z10 and Q10) and it worked perfectly.

All I did to fix my problem was go into BBM, turn location off and then back on. Then I restarted my phone and everything was fine.

Hopefully this was just a minor hiccup and it continues to work everyday as it did today.

For those who can't get it to work, I suggest reloading the OS using Link.
