    Hey everyone..I just updated my BBM through BlackBerry World and I get this error "BBM has lost its connection. Please wait while server attempts to reconnect". The strange thing is if I just use BBM...it works fine...but as soon as I hit Channels it gives this error...
    I'm running 10.2.1
    I had a similar issue when I was running 10.2 when BBM channels was in beta...
    Anyone else having similar problem?...please help...thanks
    I've already done a hard reset...still doesn't work.

    Good Morning and Welcome to CRACKBERRY, A reboot or 3 minute battery pull (make sure device has completly shut down) should do the trick and get your BBM up and running

    Did you delete from the actual app in your Blackberry world line up or the blinking icon trash can?

    There is no option to delete the BBM app. Unless I'm missing something

    Go to My world hard press and trash can will appear at bottom of right hand line up....you might have to reinstall the app....My fault you are correct....not sure. My apologizes

    So after playing around this morning...I found a temporary fix
    I put my Z10 into airplane mode ....opened BBM.. then turned airplane mode off and boom BBM and Channels worked fine. But when I closed the app and tried opening again... same error again
    Its quite annoying...
    Hoping someone will find a permanent solution to this problem

    I had the same error last night when I updated. But, I just closed that screen. I have no problems with channels going in and out of the BBM icon on the home screen now.

    When I close the screen, the BBM app shuts down. When I re-open (without toggling Airplane mode) I get the same error again.

    This is so surprising since so many claimed Channels actually FIXED so many of their problems...
