Don't recieve offline bbm messages when I connect to the internet

I've been having this problem for 2 weeks now. I usually keep my Internet off and whenever I turn it on I don't see previous contact updates and don't receive offline messages. It works fine when connected to the internet. Any solutions?

well updates and messages require internet....do you have wifi?

Yes I do have WiFi.. and I'm using BlackBerry Q10. I was working well for a long time. But recently it's giving me this problem
