Contacts pictures are not updating or are absent on my bbm. I have been told they can see mine. Is this a known bug or is it just me? Best to just wait for a patch?

This is not anormal. It means that either you are in a place with bad network or otherwise you just have to wait and the photos will appear (wait a few days and they will come bit by bit).
