Hey everyone.

Yesterday morning, one of my friends with iOS sent me out a BBM invite via text and I was able to add her without any problems.

Then another friend with iOS sent me an invite last night. This invite came through my notifications in the Hub. It said "[personsname-90460 PIN: xxxxxxx] and it had the Accept and Ignore buttons on the bottom of the screen. This same invite was sent to my brother (another Q10) and my wife (Z10). All of us clicked "Accept" but it wouldn't go through!! I tried to send my own BBM invite out to the person but it didn't go through either.

Any ideas?

I should mention that the two Q10's are on 10.2 (Rogers) but the Z10 is still on 10.1 (Rogers MR).

Remove them and readd. They should be in your pending list

In my "Invites" section, there are no invites listed under "Received". There are 2 in the "Sent" section to the contact that I'm unable to add.

Should I get them to delete the app then re-download?

Didn't work. This sucks!! @BBM... please fix this!! It's hard to convince people to get bbm if I can't accept their invites!

Same here. I received an invitation email from my brother's iPhone with his pin and the bbm wording and the whole bit. I clicked on the pin number and it brought me to my bbm invitation so i press send. He never receive my invite? I deleted it and tried again and still didn't work. What do i do now to get it to work?

I'm having the same problem trying to add my mom. She is not very tech savvy so it will be hard to try and fix .

I fixed the problem on my friend's iPhone. She had to close all open apps, delete BBM, sign out of her Apple ID, restart phone, sign back into Apple ID and redownload BBM.

After that, everything worked fine.

Had the very same problem.. mysteriously solved by clicking on 'updates' in the bbm app menu and then clicking the 3 dots on the right hand bottom of the screen that shows you an 'invite to bbm' request in the menu..went in and out of this menu twice n it some how refreshed n showed that the contact was added. hth

I just got the same issue when my friend invited me from her iphone. Annoying.

I've found how to fix problem when add pin between an iphone (or android phone) and a bb device. Just sign in BB ID in both devices and then add pin again.

I'll also have the same problem with my ios . Some of my friends can accept me . It's always pending . Have you figure out how to solve this problem ?
