    I have a blackberry q5 and I have the internet blocked but yet I still have bbm channels and I don't want them. it seems the only way to not have them is to side load to an old version which I don't think is very useful as the phone will keep wanting to update all the time. There must be a way for them to be blocked - is it via bbm or via the service provider. I CANT have the channels on my phone and need to get them removed urgently. Does anyone have any solution please?

    Hmm, I've been wanting to know the same thing. Parental control should cover something like channels you'd think. Seems perfectly logical to me.
