Not sure about Android but it should be the same as for BlackBerry. So the answer is yes. When in the chat you want, tap the paperclip at the bottom.
If you have a Z10, you'll have to pull the keyboard down to see the paperclip (tap the chat window or swipe down with two fingers or tap the kb icon at the bottom).
You will see selections to attach. One is Contact. Tap that, select one and there you go.

I know it is possible for bb10 devices, however one of my bbm contacts who uses android says there is no option to attach a contact file. I don't have an android device to verify this.

He would have to do it by finding the contact file on his phone and using the share menu to Bbm.

I've never specifically received a contact card from android friends but they have sent me pictures, videos and music this way so I hope it works for you

I have tried sending contacts to my Android worker (GS4) and he can't open them. Anyone else having this issue?
