Add yourself as contact - what for?

Autosave received photos - no, please I would have my phone full with thousands of useless pics, I just save the ones I want

Share original size photos - most of my friends have small data plans, that's better for them, and most of the times I don't need a HQ pic (although it could be easier for newbies)

So, different people, different needs. It's fine for me.

If you've been around here long enough, you'd know that several people have requested to have the add yourself as a contact back. You can send yourself reminders, ensure your connection is sending and receiving bbm's, status and photos are updating and appearing correctly, as well as a number of other things.

Autosave photos - doesn't hurt to have the option does it? Just because you don't find it useful doesn't mean others won't.

Share original size photos - also one of the many options people have requested to bring back. So once again why not have the option to auto send HQ or standard. Doesn't hurt does it?

The real features BBM needs on all platforms are quite basic.

Toggle auto save and auto download of media.

Text resize.

Mute notifications (not available on iOS yet)

Landscape mode (available on BlackBerry in hub only)

BBM group share location, video, voice messages (ptt), files, contacts.

Multi photo post for individual and group chats.

And the most important feature of them all:

To be able to open a chat and have it start from "unread messages" rather than having to start from the bottom and scrolling your way to where you left off.

The omission of the last feature makes BBM groups complete unusable.

Other than that video chat would be nice.

Signature - Google wants your info. What are you gonna do about it?

It's funny how offended ppl get when u bring whatsapp into the equation. No need to pout. It's just an application that's more advanced than our beloved BBM. Just because someone likes the features on it doesn't mean they should go use it lmao.

I agree..i use BBM and I love it but Whatsapp is an amazing app as well..very simplistic in design and very easy to us.

What exactly are the updates we should be getting from blackberry for our phones first? If I recall our BBM app still has more features than on IOS and android so what exactly is unfair in how they are treating us or what are they giving that hasnt been given to us already??
