Using my K1 / Key 2 handsets I been able to successfully invite a colleague who uses an Huawei device. However, when I call there is no sound. Clicking thru' her settings / notifications etc does not lead to any "Ringtones" options. Merely a sound tab that is turned on. So my calls go 'unheard'. In pie (EMUI 9), you'll find it here:

Notifications > BBM enterprise (beneath "batchhandling")> call notifications > sound > choose a sound.

There is also a choice called "active call" instead of "call notifications". Have you tried either of those?

Many thanks for this. I won't find out for a while if this works. Further complication is that the Huawei set in question is (in) Italian and the literal translations are frequently less than clinical. Will update as and when... :-)

The handset in question does not have pie EMUI 9, so alas, no.

So you have no sound either when called via BBMe?
