    Colleagues who have registered BBM on iPhone can't use it when travelling overseas. Is this normal for non BlackBerry BBM users? (Whatsapp is working fine for them).

    BBM has just gone cross-platform. There is no normal yet. Everything is new and stuff happens.

    I'd guess this is a bug (and rather major one). I'd tweet @BBM and @ BlackBerryDev about this.
