    I have a family member that switched to BBM and he has no problem chatting with all contacts and same goes for me, all except between each other. I send a chat and it says deliver and he can read it but when he types and sends it gives an x. Why????

    Hmm, I've had this happen with two of my contacts so far. One of them was solved by updating their software. What device are you and the other person using? Are you both running the latest version of BBM? There have been a ton of updates for the third-party platform versions.

    He is using a BlackBerry 9900 and I a Z10. I have mine updated I will confirm same on his end.

    I got exactly the same problem with one of my family members.

    I have resolved the issue by deleting the contact, re-inviting and adding it again.
