    I have a friend who lives in the middle east, dubai, and have the Bold 9900, the latest BBM that they can get from the app world doesn't support BBM voice for them. Why? Is it prohibited there? They are connected to wifi, and i have the Z10 and am on wifi.

    It's blocked in the UAE.

    The UAE has an incredibly restricted Internet connection. The country is horrible. I'd tell your friend to move.

    Bottom line, security fears. Unless you are a corporation with 20 or more BlackBerry accounts you will not be able to access BlackBerry encryption service.

    The last time I was there you couldn't get Skype or Facetime.

    Horrible? On what grounds have you ever been or know anything about the country.
    Some people have probably never left their state and know everything about how the world works, smh.

    Just ignore him, he probably never left his house and thinks he knows everything! I would totally go live there if I could, at least I get cheap gas, but that's why I go to saudi arabia, CHEAPEST GAS!
