So, this is strange. I updated BBM through BlackBerry World, screenshot:



You can see I'm on 10.3. But the UI hasn't changed at all (no Glympse, etc), screenshot:



And when I go to device monitor, it tells me the version of BBM installed is:



So I can't uninstall BBM and reinstall. And my BlackBerry thinks I have the new version.

Any ideas?

Yes you have the new version, there is no paperclip there in the old

Also notice the action bar (bar with invite and send buttons). It used to be hidden when the keyboard was open. Check bbm settings to hide it again

.. an I bet if you check the emoticons you'll see the new ones too

It shows the same version for me in the Device Monitor and my BBM did update. You should be good to go. Just try the paper clip icon as someone else suggested.

Installing the bar fixed my installation. I was also missing the new emoticons. They're there now.

Haven't had a a chance to test, but based on what I've read, I don't anticipate they will show up in the hub.

This happened to someone else i know also. When they went to BBW it should that BBM errored during the download/install. They uninstall BBM and then download it again it worked just fine.
