Trying to test the new timed feature with my wife. And even if we set it to 25 seconds The timed message shows up saying click to read.

I click and it expires immediately without allowing me to read it.

Anyone else have this issue?

I had this issue at first but after using it for about an hour I've not had an issue with it,

I just wish it would let you see the picture again after you let go of the screen and you have time left :/

That happened to me, solution : tap the screen and don't release it until you read the message. I usually tap on the picture of my contact or in the right corner of the message.

Yeah I tried that with my wife too. She said it deleted immediately.

I'm not sure how much I will use that feature, but you never know.

The retraction feature might be really cool though.

Don't tap, hold while reading.

You have to hold down while reading/viewing. There will be a timer bar that counts down as you hold down on the screen.

Had this issue with an iphone user (US to China bbm chat).

The individual stated the 5 second message expired immediately. Probably a user error will troubleshoot later.

I like the way BlackBerry implemented the tap and hold feature on the timed BBM! This will make it difficult for someone to tap hold and take a screen capture or photo of the timed BBM message. I am loving this feature for the cool factor!

On my passport I would have to tap and hold to read the messages same on the girlfriends iphone
