Hello,

I'm looking into setting up a discussion platform for several different group in which I'm implied. Since I have a BB Classic for work, and a Samsung S6 as a personal phone, I thought about BBM. However, there is a lack of desktop app for BBM to follow discussions directly from my Mac or PC. Or is there? Does someone know if a third party app exist for BBM to have notification on desktop. If not, what would you recommend me, between Slack, Telegram or else.

Use blackberry blend to access BBM from your desktop pc or mac.
That's what I do and it works perfectly

I'd go with slack.

Mobile app
Desktop app
Access via web browser
Better log of conversations, files, search convos, use hashtags, set reminders etc

Vs

Bbm mobile app
Desktop app is Blend tied to your handset isn't as intuitive as slack for group convos
Limit to number of people per group, this depends on how many you intend on having, slack is more scalable
